Good morning my friend -

What's it like to live on a farm where you can play with kittens, baby chicks, ride horses, eat veggies straight out of the garden, hang out in the meadows with the cows, sheep, turkeys and chickens or go swimming in a pond on a hot day with your older siblings?

Sounds like a pretty idyllic childhood, doesn't it?

Welcome to Bernard and Jay's world!

While it may look like all fun and games, in between their school work in the fall, winter and spring, these two actually have a lot of chores on the farm to help us complete along with mowing the lawn and various other tasks.

Bernard, who is pictured above (left) with the chicks and Jay, just turned 13 right after we shot this video.

In addition to David and me, there are a total of 4 boys and 4 girls in our family.

Bernard joined our family when he was just nearly a year old along with his younger brother Jay who was also baby at the time (they are less than a year apart!)

Today is part 2 of a series called "Introductions to the Filbrun Family" where I interview each of my family members (or at least attempt to interview all) so you can know each person behind the scenes of our small, family-owned farm.

Bernard is probably one of the most fun and energetic members of our family. He has a big heart with a terrific smile and a wonderful willingness to help.

My brother mentioned that his favorite dish that our mom makes is Turkey and Noodles using our farm's Turkey Meat.

This Turkey and Noodles Recipe closely resembles our mom's recipe.

You can purchase turkey drumsticks for only $8.35 a pound with two big drumsticks in each package. The dark meat from the Turkey Drums is perfect to add to noodles!

Hope you're enjoying some fresh sweet corn and garden tomatoes this time of year to go along with our meats!
