The Chicks Go to Pasture!

The chicks have grown feathers. Now that the warmer weather is here, we can put them out in their pasture pens.

But wait...

There's still so much work to do! We have three chicken pens to prepare for them. We want them to feel right at home.

I bet you are wondering how we do it.

First, weā€™ll have to transport the chicken pens out into the field. Then we put covers on them (recycled billboard tarps), to keep them protected from the weather. Of course, we canā€™t forget to add feeders and waterers they can't live without that.

Now itā€™s time to move those chickens out of the brooder house! We load the chickens into crates and deliver them to their new home in the field. They will spend the rest of their lives enjoying lush greens and tasty bugs.

(A chicken's dream life)

Soon, they will switch to 18% protein feed that consists ofā€¦

All organically raised ingredients.

Fertrell Poultry Nutri-Balancer

Mineral Premix 15 lb

Calcium Carbonate 6.5 lb

Fish Meal 12.5 lb

Wheat 50 lb

Extruded Soybeans 150 lb

Corn 266 lb

The birds will live this wonderful life for 8 to 9 weeks, until they reach full size. At that time, they will be humanely harvested and processed.

Thanks for tuning in and learning!

It's finally time to sit down and write something about a topic I've been asked about many times over the last year -- the use of mRNA vaccines in cows and other animals.
