Humanely Raised All the animals at The Makers Meadow are raised on pastures, enjoying the sunshine and fresh air as much as possible. This allows them to express the natural instincts that God has given them. We continually learn how to handle the animals calmly and carefully to help them not get overly frightened or have added stress.

100% Grass-Fed & Grass Finished means that the animal has never had any grain in their entire life. They are raised on open green pastures in the summer and in the winter they are on the same pastures eating dried grasses and hay. They enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, living low stress lives.

No Hormones or steroids are never administered to any animals here at The Makers Meadow (The FDA does not allow the use of hormones or steroids in the production of pork or poultry.) Here at the Makers meadow we don’t allow Hormones or steroids in the production of any meat.

Never Fed Drugs Or Antibiotics No Animal is ever given any Drugs Or Antibiotics. If an animal is struggling and needs extra care it is given minerals and herbs to help it recover.

GMO-Free All Animals are raised without the feeding of genetically modified organisms such as GMO corn or soybeans or any grain. Instead they are fed on pastures that are managed with organic practices and supplemented with Organic grains that are required to be Non-GMO by the certifier.

Meadow Raised / Pasture-Raised The animals feed on a large diversity of plants that grow in the meadows. Each plant pulls up different nutrients from the soil that benefits the animals as well as you. This helps you have a rich nutrient-dense meat and also adds a wonderful flavor that you can’t get from an animal that is only raised on corn and soybeans.

MSG-Free MSG is commonly used as a flavor enhancer, MSG has been known to cause health issues. All of the products here at The Makers Meadow are free of MSG.

Raw Foods During processing, we never exceed 103°F. Enjoy the benefits of raw food with sealed in freshness.

Soy-Free All of our Lamb and Beef is SOY FREE. They are raised on open green pastures in the summer and in the winter they are on the same pastures eating dried grasses and hay. They enjoy the sunshine and Fresh air, living low stress lives. The seafood and fish are naturally soy-free because they have a natural diet of wild food from the oceans, rivers and lakes.

Grain-Free meats does not contain any refined or whole grains. All of our Beef and Lamb meat is 100% grain free. They are raised on open green pastures in the summer and in the winter they are on the same pastures eating dried grasses and hay. They enjoy the sunshine and Fresh air, living low stress lives. Our seafood and fish are naturally grain-free because they have a diet of wild food from the oceans, rivers and lakes.

Wild Caught Seafood and fish that is caught in natural environments such as oceans, rivers and lakes. They live on a natural diet of wild food from the oceans, rivers and lakes. It is never farm raised.
