Take a pound of this ground chicken and make a quick easy sausage:
Take a pound of this ground chicken and make a quick easy sausage:
Add 1 to 1½ teaspoons of dry sage or 1 Tablespoon of fresh sage
1 teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
And if you like, a pinch of rosemary
Use your hands and mix it all into the meat very well. You can also shape it into sausage patties or fried up and mix your scrambled eggs with it.
If you only use salt, it is best to mix your salt into the meat instead of putting it on top.
Or you can mix any of your favorite seasonings in instead. Sometimes I like to just grab some of Jan's Italian seasoning and mix it in.
Since ground chicken cooks up much faster than ground beef or lamb, you can have a delicious breakfast sausage in just a few minutes!!
