Ingredients
- (1.5 lbs) Traditional Style Pork Ham Roast
- (0.5 lbs) Ground Pork
- (2) Large eggs
- (1 cup) Whole milk
- (1 cup) Dry bread crumbs
- (To grease pan) Butter
- (1/4 tsp) Salt
- (1/4 tsp) Pepper
- (1/2 tsp) Sage
- (1/2 tsp) Ground mustard
- (1/3 cup (packed)) Brown sugar
- (1/4 cup) Apple cider vinegar
- (1/4 cup) Apple cider vinegar
- (1 tsp) Ground mustard
- (2 tbsp) Water
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 350°.
2) In a large bowl, beat the eggs; add milk, bread crumbs and spices. Add ham and pork; mix well. Grease a 9x5-in. loaf pan with butter and press meat mixture into it. Bake 30 minutes.
3) Combine glaze ingredients and spoon over loaf. Bake 40 minutes longer, basting occasionally with glaze.
4) Let sit for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
MEAT MIXTURE:
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup whole milk
• 1 cup dry bread crumbs
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon sage
• 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard seed
• 1-1/2 pound ground fully cooked ham
• 1/2 pound ground pork
GLAZE:
• 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/4 cup cider vinegar
• 1 teaspoon ground mustard
• 2 tablespoons water
