Ingredients
- (2-3 lbs.) Beef Broth Bones (click & please read description)
- (2 whole, roughly chopped) Carrots
- (2 whole, roughly chopped) Celery stalks
- (1 whole, quartered) Onion
- (2 cloves, peeled and smashed) Garlic
- (2 tbsp) Apple cider vinegar
- (1 leaf) Bay leaf
- (1 tsp) Black or white peppercorns
- (1 tsp, optional) Sea salt
- (1/4 cup, finely chopped, optional) Parsley
- (Enough to cover all ingredients once placed in pot) Filtered water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange bones (preferably a mix of knuckles, joints, and marrow bones) in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast bones for 30 minutes, or until browned.
- Place roasted bones, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, apple cider vinegar, bay leaf, peppercorns, and salt (if using) into the Instant Pot. Add filtered water until it covers the ingredients, but does not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Secure the lid and ensure the valve is set to seal. Cook on high pressure for 2 hours (120 minutes).
- Once cooking is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for at least 30 minutes. Carefully strain the broth using a fine-mesh strainer and discard the solids.
- Let the broth cool before storing it in airtight containers. You can refrigerate the broth for up to 3 days or freeze it for up to 6 months.
- Enjoy your homemade Instant Pot beef bone broth in soups, stews, or as a nutritious beverage!
